Parent & Caregiver Support

NCHS Is Here For Everyone, Especially You

There's no need to go it alone

Supporting parents and caregivers, as well as the professionals who support them, is critical to promoting the health and wellness of children, youth, and young adults. Love, acceptance, appreciation, encouragement, and guidance come from parents and caregivers. In this environment, children are nurtured and protected as they grow physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially. But it’s not always easy. We’ll partner with you to support your family journey.

Individual Support

Healthy Families America®

Support where you need it most

At NCHS, we know that raising a child can be challenging. But, it’s important to remember that parenting is a journey, and there are always ways you can learn and strengthen your abilities. Through the NCHS Healthy Families America (HFA) program, parents expecting a child or with a child 3 months or younger in need of additional support can connect with home visiting services, community resources, and one-on-one guidance from family resource specialists.
