About the Event
This is a foundational workshop exploring some of the unique challenges, opportunities and responsibilities of adopting transracially and/or transculturally. Workshop content is focused on exploring the Seven Core Issues in Adoption and Permanency. Participants will explore critical subjects including Race, Socialization, Development of Identity, Developing Positive Racial Identity, Safety & Security, Unconscious/Implicit Bias, Stereotypes and Prejudice, Microaggressions and Racism.
This training will be held in-person at our Omaha main office.
