Separation, Grief and Loss (Lincoln)

About the Event

Separation, Grief and Loss are elements of every adoption story. In this workshop, you will explore how these topics are interconnected, how children may view their own adoption at different levels of sophistication as they age, and how parents can help them navigate through. An emphasis is placed on recognizing that adoption isn’t a one-day event/experience, that helping your child know and own their story can be empowering and affirming…if sometimes challenging and a bit scary.

This training will be held in-person in Lincoln. Location information will be shared upon registration.
