Kin Support Class Series (Virtual)

About the Event

As a grandparent or kin caregiver taking care of a young relative, you may feel overwhelmed.

NCHS’s Kin Support Class Series aims to help kinship caregivers balance the demands of caring for children with their own well-being.

This no-cost series is for kinship caregivers who are raising grandchildren and other young relatives. Topics included cover:

  • Nurturing self and children
  • Keeping children secure and safe
  • Child growth and development
  • Blessings and losses
  • Fostering healthy relationships
  • Understanding child behavior

This series will be offered via Zoom and is open to kinship caregivers statewide.

This group meets weekly on Mondays.
