Helping Your Child Tell Their Story With Lifebooks (Omaha)

About the Event

Lifebooks are a record of a child’s adoption story. Created over time, and with the child’s input, they are more than a baby book. Lifebooks are a place where adoptive parents can record details (pictures, graphics, artwork, memorabilia, etc.) related to your child’s life story. These details honor the child’s life and should include the good, the uncomfortable, and sometimes the very challenging. This workshop will explore different components of a typical lifebook and encourage you to create one with your adopted child. Additional resources and supports are included.

This training will be held in-person at our Omaha main office.
