About the Event

Trauma is an emotional response to an intense event or events that threaten or causes harm. Traumatic experiences that happen during pregnancy or early in life can have a lasting impact on a childTraumatic experiences that occur later in life may also have a lasting impact. Understanding the effects of trauma is particularly important for parents working to provide a nurturing home for their children and to help them feel safe and loved. The workshop also explores strategies that can help support a child’s healing and improve relationships.

This training will be held in-person at our Omaha main office.
