Family Support Services
Parenting can be overwhelming – at any age, and at any stage. Our parenting education classes and support services will help parents and parents-to-be navigate pregnancy, care for infants and toddlers, and talk through issues and insights with fellow moms, dads and caregivers. All classes are available at no cost to participants.
Offered to expectant parents, Birth Suite is a hands-on, three-week class taught by a certified doula that covers how to prepare for the labor and delivery process. It includes information on identifying labor symptoms, pain management options and postpartum health. Partners and other support people are welcome.
Our Newborn Care class teaches new and expectant parents how to care for a young infant, while also covering perinatal maternal health – including a focus on maternal depression, breastfeeding, safe sleep and car seat safety. Partners and other support people are welcome.
Kindergarten Readiness is a four-week class that covers important aspects of preparing your child for kindergarten.
